Sarah Discaya fears possible jail time, separation from kids amid flood control mess

SARAH Discaya emotionally shared her fear of being jailed and separated from her children after being implicated in the alleged anomalous flood control project in Davao Occidental.

In an interview on Thursday, December 10, she admitted she cannot help but worry about the possibility of imprisonment.

“Syempre you don’t just think of ‘ay, hindi ko ako makukulong kasi nadamay lang ako,’” Discaya said.

She continued, “Iniisip ko, long term din, baka mamaya makulong talaga ako.”

Discaya stressed that she does not want to be jailed, especially because her children have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

“Ayoko. Ayoko sana. Kasi as everyone knows, my kids they all have ADHD, husband ko nasa Senate tapos ako makukulong. Ang hirap. Ang hirap, hindi ko alam kung paano ‘yong mga anak ko. Hindi ko talaga alam,” she said in tears.

She added that everything she does in life is for her children, which is why the thought of being separated from them is deeply distressing.

“Sobrang concern ko ang mga anak ko kasi kung ano man [ang] ginagawa namin [ay] para sa mga anak namin tapos biglang ihihiwalay ako sa mga anak ko,” she said.

She continued, “‘Yon ‘yong pinakamahirap, na mahiwalay sa mga anak.”
