Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy to be deported soon

RUSSIAN vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy is set to be deported from the Philippines in the coming weeks after completing the penalties imposed on him for various violations, officials announced on Thursday at a press briefing at the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) office in Quezon City.

Bureau of Immigration Legal Division chief Arvin Cesar Santos said Zdorovetskiy has already served his sentence, clearing the way for his removal from the country.

Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla explained that the deportation will be carried out based on Zdorovetskiy’s passport nationality, Russia, and not his country of residence, despite his status as a United States green card holder.

Zdorovetskiy, 34, was arrested in April 2025 after authorities cited him for repeatedly engaging in law-breaking stunts filmed for his YouTube channel.

Officials said his content included acts that violated local laws and disrespected Filipinos, prompting public backlash and government action.

Immigration officials said preparations are underway to complete his deportation in the coming weeks.
