Russian vlogger transferred to BJMP custody

RUSSIAN vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who went viral for harassing Filipinos in his online prank videos, has been transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said.

BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said Zdorovetskiy was turned over to the BJMP on June 11 and will remain in their custody while facing charges in court.

Once the cases are resolved, he will be returned to the BI for deportation proceedings.

Zdorovetskiy was arrested in April after drawing public outrage over several videos that allegedly involved harassing or humiliating Filipinos in the guise of pranks.
