THE Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to recruit 6,500 new police officers nationwide as part of its Calendar Year 2025 Attrition Quota program.
PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño said the acceptance of application folders will run from October 21 to 27.
Of the total number, 5,000 slots will be allocated to the country’s 17 Police Regional Offices, while the remaining positions will go to various National Support Units.
Tuaño said the recruitment is part of the PNP’s continuing efforts to strengthen its ranks and maintain professionalism within the organization.
He emphasized that the entire recruitment process is free of charge and warned applicants against individuals posing as intermediaries or collecting fees in exchange for entry into the police force.
To prevent favoritism or political influence, Tuaño said the PNP has implemented a QR Code system under its Recruitment and Selection Board to ensure that only qualified applicants are accepted.
