AUTHORITIES arrested a 28-year-old seafarer from Pangasinan for allegedly stealing alcoholic beverages from the in-flight drinks trolley during a flight from New York to Manila on April 13.
According to the cabin crew, the passenger was caught in the act of taking bottles of liquor from the trolley.
While one bottle was recovered, several others—including red wine, vodka, and rum—were reported missing.
Upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the suspect was met by law enforcement officers and brought to the NAIA Police Station 1 for questioning and the filing of charges.
The seafarer is now in police custody and faces theft charges.
