Mon Tulfo slams Brother Ben: “Sociopath, had a nervous breakdown, tapang-tapangan’

VETERAN columnist Mon Tulfo publicly lashed out at his younger brother Ben who berated him for weighing in on a controversy involving their brother, Sen. Raffy Tulfo, with a Vivamax artist.

In a Facebook post, Mon detailed a series of accusations against Ben a day after the latter criticized him for “meddling” in the issue and branded him an “epal,” “sawsawero,” and “kunsintidor.”

Ben had taken offense at Mon’s remark suggesting it was “okay lang mambabae, huwag lang manglalake si Raffy” which he said wrongly justified questionable behavior.

In response, Mon described Ben as “sira-ulo,” a “sociopath,” and claimed his brother had suffered a “nervous breakdown.”

The columnist said their family opposed political dynasties and admitted he had prayed for Ben to lose in the May 2025 senatorial elections.

“Ipinagdasal ko nang taimtim na huwag manalo si Ben noong nakaraang eleksyon. Salamat at dininig naman ang dasal ko,” Mon wrote.

He added that Ben’s election would have resulted in another Tulfo in the Senate, which he said the family did not want.

“Bukod sa magiging tatlo ang Tulfo sa Senado, kapag nagkataon ay may sira-ulo pang senador,” Mon said.

Mon also claimed the family had repeatedly urged Ben to seek psychiatric help. “Ilang beses na namin siyang pinapayuhan na magpatingin sa psychiatrist,” he wrote, alleging that such advice only fueled further conflict.

He further accused his brother of projecting toughness only because he was accompanied by bodyguards. “Nagtatapang-tapangan lang yan. Matapang lang siya dahil may bodyguards,” Mon said.

Ben has yet to respond to Mon’s latest statements.
