ITINANGGI ng misis ng pinaghahanap na dating Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na ayaw niyang humarap sa ginagawang pagdinig ng House quad committee na nag-iimbestiga sa mga iregularidad ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) sa bansa.
Pinaaresto na rin ng komite si Mylah Roque dahil sa kabiguan nitong di pagsipot sa pagdinig noong Biyernes.
Ngunit ayon kay Mylah, hindi sa ayaw umano niyang dumalo sa pagdinig dahil makailang ulit na siyang nagko-comply sa hiling ng mga miyembro nito.
“Contrary to the quad committee officials’ claim that I have ‘failed to appear’ before their august body, I have actually been regularly complying with their documentary requirements,” ayon kay Mylah sa isang kalatas na inilabas nitong Sabado.
“Every time I submit a medical document, the good officials always, without fail, ask for something else and something new—to the point that the information they require is already very intrusive and violates my right to privacy,” giit niya.
“I understand now that there is nothing could submit that they would have found sufficient. They simply refuse to evaluate the documents on their own merit. I pray that the Supreme Court will see this for what it truly is,” any pa.
Kapwa pinatatawag ng Quad com ang mag-asawa upang bigyang linaw ang diumano’y kaugnayan nila sa illegal na operasyon ng POGO.
