NANAWAGAN si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa mga Pinoy na tularan ang mga bayani bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Heroes Day ngayong Lunes.
“As we celebrate this day dedicated to our nation’s heroes, let us strive to fulfill our own promise so that we may also be heroes in our right and a source of pride and inspiration for the succeeding general of Filipinos to emulate,” sabi ni Marcos.
Pinangunahan ni Marcos ang pagdiriwang ng National Heroes’ Day sa Libingan ng mga Bayani sa Taguig City ngayong Lunes.
Kasabay nito, pinuri ni Marcos ang kabayanihan na ipinakikita ng mga medical professionals, civil servants, uniformed personnel at ordinaryong mga mamamayan.
“Their deeds not only remind us of the nobility of our race, but also invite us to take part in the difficult but rewarding task of nation-building,” dagdag ni Marcos.
