“It would take long to review the 2025 General Appropriations Bill,” ayon kay Marcos sa panayam sa isang event sa Villamor Air Base sa Pasay City Huwebes ng umaga.
“Well, we had to have a look because maraming nagbago from the budget requests of the different departments and we have to put it back in the same shape that we had first requested,” dagdag ni Marcos.
“Now, it’s up to us on how we regain control of the spending program. I cannot give you the details yet because that that’s what we are doing. We are going through item by item, line by line to see what is priority and what is not. And that’s what we’ll come up with,” anya pa.
“So, unfortunately, I am only left now with the veto power… It’s up to us now to look at the items and to see what are appropriate, what are relevant and what are the priorities,” paliwanag pa ni Marcos.
