HINIKAYAT ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang publiko na ipagdiwang ang tunay na kahulugan ng Pasko sa pamamagitan ng pagiging instrumento ng pag-asa at ilaw para sa mga nangangailangan.
Sa kanyang Christmas message na nakapost sa kanyang official social media pages, hinimok ni Marcos na alalahanin si Hesu Kristo na siyang dahilan kung bakit may Pasko “by expressing gratitude for the boundless love that God has showered upon us through the time-honored Filipino traditions of “Simbang Gabi,” gift-giving and feasts with our friends, relatives, and families.”
Anya ang paggunita sa Kapaskuhan ay isa ring oportunidad para tumulong sa mga nangangailangan.
“Indeed, there is no better way for us to share the gift of Christmas than by spreading hope to those who need it the most this holiday season,” anya.
“Let us kindle our hearts with goodwill, kindness, and compassion as we spread merriment in our home and communities. By doing so, we do not only bring peace, love, and unity, but become living instruments of the timeless adage that God’s work here on earth is truly our own,” dagdag pa ng pangulo.
Sa Maynila lang magdidiwang ng Pasko ang pangulo at kanyang pamilya, ayon sa Presidential Communications Office.
