MALIBAN sa kabi-kabilang bash, posibleng mawalan pa ng kanyang lisensiya ang isang mall guard matapos mag-viral ang video kung saan mapapanood kung paano niya sinipa ang isang vendor at ang iinibentang sampaguita nito.
“So far based on our assessment, just by watching the video, we see a possible violation in terms of the security guard’s conduct, his decorum in the performance of his duty. There is a violation of ethical standards, professional security creed and we would also determine whether there is a violation of special laws and if we can add these to the administrative complaint to the SOSIA (Supervisory Office On Security And Investigation Agency),” ayon kay PNP Civil Security Group (CSG) spokesperson Lt. Col. Eudisan Gultiano ngayong Huwebes.
Titingnan din anya nito ang possible liability ng security agency na siyang employer ng guard.
“We would invite the security agency because we would want to know whether the rules and regulations on proper decorum and ethical standards are being relayed to their security guards,” ayon pa sa opisyal.
Samantala, iniimbestigahan na rin ng Mandaluyong City Police ang insidente ng pananakit.
Sa viral video, huling-huli ang ginawang pananakit at pagsira ng security guard sa sampaguita garlands ng ibinibenta ng tila isang bata na naka-school uniform sa premises SM Megamall.
Bago ito ay nakita rin na pinaalis ng gwardiya ang bata at nang hindi ito nagpatinag ay hinablot ng guwardiya ang tinda nitong sampaguita at saka sinipa. Pinaghahampas naman ng bata ang gwardiya.
Wala pa naman anyang complainant pero inatasan na umano ni Coll. Grace Madayag, hepe ng Mandaluyong City Police na puntahan ang mall at maging ang eskwelahan ng biktima.
“There is no complainant yet but I asked our investigators to go to SM Megamall to identify the involved child. I also asked them to check the school of the student,” ayon kay Madayag.
Samantala, humingi naman na ng paumanhin ang SM Megamall hinggil sa nangyari.
“We have called the attention of the security agency to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation. The security guard has been dismissed and will no longer be allowed to service any of our malls,” ayon sa kalatas na inilabas ng SM.
