THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has revoked the driver’s license of the motorist involved in the fatal crash at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 last May 4.
The incident claimed the lives of a four-year-old girl and a 29-year-old man after a black Ford Everest rammed into the departure area of the terminal.
In a statement on Thursday, the LTO said the driver was found guilty of reckless driving. He was fined P2,000 and had his license revoked for four years.
LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza said the penalties imposed were the maximum sanctions allowed under existing laws.
