THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) Calabarzon has issued a show cause order against one of its traffic enforcers after a photo of him going viral on social media showed him allegedly hiding beside a post while conducting apprehensions in Taytay, Rizal.
Regional Director Elmer Decena immediately ordered an investigation, confirming in a preliminary verification that the employee is indeed an LTO staff member.
Decena emphasized that all LTO personnel are expected to perform their duties with professionalism, integrity, and strict adherence to traffic enforcement rules.
The enforcer has been allowed to explain why he should not be held administratively liable for the incident.
The agency said the action aims not only to ensure accountability but also to reinforce professionalism and maintain public trust in LTO traffic enforcers.
