SINUSPINDE ni Pangulong Marcos si Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III sa harap ng umano’y korupsyon sa ilalim ng kanyang liderato.
“The President does not tolerate any misconduct in his administration and has instructed the immediate investigation of this matter. He strongly condemns dishonesty and duplicity in public service,” sabi ng Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
Ito’y matapos akusahan ng dating head executive assistant (HEA) ni Guadiz na si Jeffrey “Jeff” Gallos Tumbado ang umano’y talamak na korupsyon sa LTFRB kung saan umaabot sa P5 milyon ang lagay para mabigyan ng ruta at prangkisa.
Idinagdag ni Tumbado na umaabot din sa P2 milyon ang buwanang quota para sa mga regional offices.
