FORMER Vice President Leni Robredo said Friday that running for Senate next year was no longer an option.
Robredo made the statement after attending the episcopal ordination of Bishop Luisito Occiano at the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Peñafrancia in Naga City.
She said she already informed her party, the Liberal Party, of her decision.
“Sinarado ko na (option to run), kaya nagpaalam na ako sa LP. Kaya ako nagpaalam sa LP na hindi na ako tatakbo sa Senado,” she said.
