DE La Salle University (DLSU) confirmed on Friday, February 13, that a student fell one floor from a building inside its campus
In a statement posted on Facebook, the university said the student was immediately given medical attention by the University Clinic.
“De La Salle University confirms that an incident occurred today involving a student who fell one floor from a building on campus. The student received immediate medical attention from the University Clinic,” the statement read.
Following first aid, the student was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and was accompanied by university medical personnel. School administrators are also in close coordination with the student’s guardian.

The university appealed to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information or engaging in speculation.
“We urge the Lasallian community and the general public to refrain from circulating unverified information or engaging in speculation regarding the circumstances of this incident,” it said, calling for compassion and respect for the student and the family.
