THE personal assistant of Jinkee Pacquiao has denied online claims that former senator and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao failed to support his son, Eman Bacosa, saying she personally witnessed the help extended by the couple.
In a social media post, Malou Masangkay, Jinkee Pacquiao’s longtime personal assistant, said she was present during several instances when Manny and Jinkee provided assistance to Eman, countering speculation circulating on social media.
“Ako po mismo ang saksi. Kung tulong ang pag-uusapan, sobra-sobra ang ibinigay nina Sir Manny at Madam Jinkee kay Eman,” Masangkay wrote.
She cited instances in which Pacquiao personally attended to his son’s needs, including shopping for clothes, shoes, and a piano, often accompanied by Eman’s sibling.
Masangkay stressed that Pacquiao never abandoned his son and said public disclosure of such support was unnecessary.
“Huwag na po sana tayong humusga. Hindi rin naman kailangang ipakita sa social media ang lahat ng tulong na naibibigay,” she added.
In a separate message, Masangkay said Eman was aware of his father’s affection, saying Pacquiao loves his son.
Several netizens also pointed out that Eman himself has not publicly claimed that his father withheld support, noting that the allegations appeared to have originated from online speculation rather than any direct statement from him.
