BUMABA ang inflation rate sa bansa sa 7.6 porsiyento nitong Marso, kumpara sa 8.6 porsiyento na naitala noong Pebrero.
Gayunman, nananatiling mataas ito kumpara sa 4.0 porisyento na naitala noong Marso 2022, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Sinabi ng PSA na nasa 8.3 porsiyento naman ang average ng inflation sa unang bahagi ng 2023 sa 8.3 porsiyento.
“Among the 13 commodity groups, the continued downtrend of the overall inflation in March 2023 was mainly brought about by the heavily-weighted food and non-alcoholic beverages, which recorded a lower inflation rate of 9.3 percent from 10.8 percent in the previous month,” sabi ng PSA.
Naitala naman ang mataas na inflation sa mga alcoholic beverages at tobacco, 12.2 porsiyento mula sa 11.0 porsiyento.
