Gudoy takes oath as new DAP Vice President for corporate concern center

THE Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) officially welcomed its newly appointed Vice President for the Corporate Concern Center (CCC), June Arvin C. Gudoy, during an oath-taking ceremony held Thursday at the DAP Main Office in Pasig City.

Gudoy, appointed by the DAP Board of Trustees, formally assumed office on January 6, 2025.

With over a decade of experience in public service, Gudoy brings a profound knowledge and expertise to the role.

Before his appointment, Gudoy served as the Communications Office Department Head for the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte. He notably founded its youth development office, which was recognized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government in 2015 as one of the 10 outstanding local government initiatives.

Transitioning to the national government, Gudoy held significant roles at the Department of Education, the House of Representatives, and the National Anti-Poverty Commission.

Gudoy’s academic credentials are equally impressive. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Studies (major in Communication Arts) from Mariano Marcos State University, a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Sydney (2019), and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Oxford (2024).

The ceremony was graced by DAP President and CEO Dr. Majah-Leah Ravago, along with members of the DAP Board of Trustees, including Civil Service Commission Chairperson Atty. Marilyn Barua-Yap, and representatives from various government agencies, such as the National Economic and Development Authority, Department of Agriculture, Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Education, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and Department of Finance.

With his extensive experience in governance and education, Gudoy is expected to significantly contribute to the DAP’s mission of fostering excellence in public service and governance.
