NASA kustodiya na ng International Criminal Court si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte matapos ang kanyang pagkakaaresto nitong Martes sa Maynila bunsod ng mga kasong crimes against humanity.
Dumating sa Rotterdam International Airport sa The Hague, Netherlands si Duterte lulan ng chartered plane RP C5219 alas 4:55 ng hapon Miyerkules (11:55 Manila time).
“Mr Rodrigo Roa Duterte… was surrendered to the custody of the International Criminal Court,” ayon sa pahayag ng ICC.
“He was arrested by the authorities of the Republic of the Philippines in accordance with an arrest warrant issued by Pre-Trial Chamber I for charges of murder as a crime against humanity,” dagdag pa nito.
Inilabas ang arrest warrant nitong Pebrero 10, 2025 laban kay Duterte para sa mga kasong crimes against humanity of murder, torture at rape na nangyari sa pagitan noong Nobyembre 1, 2011 at Marso 16, 2019.
