THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is studying the possibility of including domestic helpers, janitors, and other low-income workers in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
According to DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumlao, the plan is part of enhancements to the 17-year-old program to make it more responsive to current needs.
She added that to qualify, workers must have young children aged zero to 18 years old who are in school.
The enhancement is in line with President Marcos’ directive to ensure all Filipinos have equal opportunities for development.
