Class opening sa ilang paaralan na apektado ng baha, ipagpapaliban muna

SINABI ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara na ipagpapaliban muna ang class opening ng mga eskwelahang matinding nasalanta ng bagyong Carina.

“Some schools will really have to postpone their openings kasi maraming aayusin at lilinisin,” ayon kay Angara.

Samantala, balik-eskwela naman na ang mga paaralan na may minimal damage sa Lunes, Hulyo 29.

Gayunman, hindi rin pipilitin ang mga nasalanta na pumasok kaagad sa Lunes.

Hindi namin pipilitin yung mga nasalanta talaga at mahihirapan sa school opening ng Lunes,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.

Ilalabas ng kagawaran ang listahan ng mga paaralan na hindi muna magbubukas sa Lunes.

Aabot sa 90 eskwelahan na nasa Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, at Eastern Visayas ang matinding nasalanta ng bagyo.

May 324 paaralan naman ang kasalukuyang ginagamit bilang evacuation center sa anim na rehiyon sa bansa.
