“The Senor Sto. Nino de Cebu is a source of inspiration and strength of numerous Catholic faithful. I am one of those,” paliwanag niya.
“I questioned God, ‘Ngano man, Lord? (Why, Lord?)’ The Sto. Nino paved the way for me to shed off my doubts and made me realize that everything happens for a reason. In gratitude, I am sharing this faith to the national stage,” sambit niya.
“Something so sacred should not be used for anything to influence especially for competition.”
“And that’s the way to lose a pageant.”
“Why not pose as the crucified Christ next time? Or the Pope? Or the Virgin Mary? All these pathetic moves are done to stir controversy and be the talk of town.”
“Respect our Senor Santo Nino.Respect our Holiness.”
“That vestment is a sacred symbol and only the Sr. Sto. Niño can wear it. Have respect.”
