BI deports Russian vlogger

THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) has confirmed the deportation of Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, 33, following an order declaring him an undesirable alien.

Zdorovetskiy boarded an IrAero flight bound for Irkutsk, Russia on January 17.

The BI said he was deported for harassing and humiliating Filipinos and disrupting public peace, acts deemed contrary to public morals and policy.

He was arrested in April last year after videos of his prank-related harassment in Bonifacio Global City went viral.

Zdorovetskiy admitted to the acts and was detained at Camp Bagong Diwa.

During inquest proceedings, he admitted to the acts of harassment and was subsequently detained at the BI wardens’ facility inside Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig.

His application for bail was denied by the Bureau.

His name has been added to the BI blacklist.
