SINIBAK din ang 49 pulis na nakatalaga sa Bamban Municipal Station sa Tarlac dahil sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon hinggil sa Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) sa bayan na may basbas diumano ng sinuspindeng mayor na si Alice Guo.
Sa press briefing sa Camp Crame nitong Martes, sinabi ni PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo na itatalaga ang mga sinabik na pulis sa Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit of the Police Regional Office-3 (PRO-Central Luzon).
Isasailalim ang mga sinibak sa pwesto na mga pulis sa focuse reformation and reorientation for police officers program sa PNP Training Service School for Values and Leadership sa Subic, Zambales.
Papalitan sila ng mga miyembro ng Police Regional Office 3 First and Second Provincial Mobile Force Companies at Tarlac City at kalapit na munisipalidad ng Concepcion at Capas.
Una nang sinibak sa pwesto ang hepe ng municipal police matapos ang raid sa POGO na pinatatakbo ng Zun Yuan Technology, Inc.
Nitong Lunes sinuspinde rin ng anim na buwan si Guo at dalawa pang opisyal ng munisipyo dahil sa pagkaka-link ng mga ito sa POGO.
Ayon sa Ombudsman, may matibay na ebidensiya laban kay Guo, Edwin Ocampo, Municipal Business Permits and Licensing Office Chief at Adden Sigua na siyang municipal legal officer sa reklamong “grave misconduct, conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service, and gross neglect of duty” dahil sa POGO operations.
